FactCheck Shakes Down a Nasty Chain Email Filled With Lies About Healthcare Reform

The teaser says it all: "A notorious analysis of the House health care bill contains 48 claims. Twenty-six of them are false and the rest mostly misleading. Only four are true." Looks like one side of this debate cannot argue without lying.

"Looks like one side of this debate cannot argue without lying."

Do you not consider this shallow and prejudicial reasoning? Were I to draw such a sweeping conclusion about black crime, black incarceration, et al, you would immediately point to me and say I was drawing a racist conclusion.

Barack said Obamacare would pay for itself; the CBO said it would cost $1 Trillion, then explode into unquantifiable additional cost. Shall I say: Looks like the Obamacare side of this debate cannot argue w/o lying.(?)

Barack said Obamacare would not provide medical care for illegal aliens; the Congressional Research Service says Obamacare will provide healthcare for illegal aliens. Shall I say: Looks like the Obamacare side of this debate cannot argue w/o lying.(?)

I could go on, but there may not be enough pixels.

One answer for you: I think you should try to distinguish an nonliteral expression from analysis!
