Don't Ask, Don't Tell Heats Up in Courts and in Congress

Yesterday, I analyzed a case that challenges Don't Ask, Don't Tell. The case might test the new administration's position on DADT - a statute that Obama says he will seek to repeal. Later in the day, Representative Ellen Tauscher of California reintroduced legislation that would repeal DADT.

Obama had hoped to take a slow approach on this issue. But it seems to be getting beyond his control.

Hope it's not too OT, but it's very disappointing to see (in the linked article) that Bush's stem-cell research restrictions still haven't been repealed.

As I recall, Hillary promised to do that on her first day in office.
